Description:

While trying to process a job you get this error;

 

Processing Reports, Writing .HLPF file > Total page count: 1

The VSPrinter control is emptly (no document to translate).  Please close the PDF file before processing

Solutions:

Cause:

No Windows default printer has been set
Solution:

Using the Windows Control Panel, set the Let Windows manage my default printer to off. Then set your default printer to a 8.5x11 printer or PDF writer.


NOTE:  If using a virtual desktop, make sure both the host computer and the virtual computer BOTH have printers set as their default printer.

This error was created when the host computer didn't have a default printer set.
